​My son joined Seikido a few months ago and really enjoys his time there. The older kids who help him during class are a true reflection of the teaching in the dojo. They are kind, courteous and respectful. Seikido is a family run business that emphasizes building relationships with the students. We feel very lucky to be a part of Seikido and hope to continue for many years to come!

​My son picked Seikido to practice martial arts and no question he made the right choice! Sensei Wayne brings his passion for the dojo and practice to each class, sharing his love of training and the Seikido philosophy. ​ I have been with the dojo for several years, and my experience there has far exceeded my expectations in every way. I have studied many martial arts from many teachers, and I can say unequivocally that Doshu Paul and Sensei Wayne are the best I've met. They, and the many students who have trained under the Li's -many of them for decades- are not only incredibly talented martial artists, with years of practical experience in every form of combat, but also an unlimited source of wisdom, compassion, and love. This is more than a school; it is a family.

I first joined the Dojo when I was 7, and trained until I was 14 in the early 2000s. My experience taught my how the importance of self discipline, focus, resiliency and perseverance, and traits that I continue to carry and have helped me as an adult. It also gave me an amazing sense of body awareness and control, and very practical self defence tools.

Now, at 28, I've returned to the Dojo, where I was welcomed with open arms by the Li family (Doshu, Michelle and Sensei) as well as all the students. This Dojo truly values each of its members and sense of community.

When my daughter is old enough, I look forward to putting her in their Little Ninjas programs.

Seikido has been such a huge part of my teenage years and molded me into the adult that I am today. I joined when I was about 10-11 years old and trained for over a decade under the incredible instructors and alongside friends that I can now call as family. The dojo emphasizes not only practical and useful self-defense techniques, but the mentality, confidence, and discipline that one can apply to so many aspects in his or her life. I owe a lot to the family at Seikido and I recommend anyone who is interested in learning martial arts to come train here!
