 We are proud to announce that our Vancouver Seikido program is now open to the public and runs from September to July. The Seikido Federation was originally established by Doshu in Vancouver throughout dozens of community centres in the GVA in the early 1980s for over 20 years. The founder reached out to the youth of these areas with a passion and dedication to teaching Martial Arts as a tool for empowerment and success. He has taught and lectured to thousands of students within the walls of community centres such as Sunset, Strathcona, Marpole and Hastings. A significant number of these students went on to train for decades and continue to play an active and supportive role in the teaching and establishment of Seikido today. The life success and well being of these students has, and continues to be the number one priority of our founder in his pursuit and establishment of Seikido. Today, the Seikido organization continues to prosper as one of the longest running and most established martial arts clubs in area, continuing to instil the same principles and values set out nearly 40 years ago. We are proud to see that a large number of students from these generations who started training as kids, are now bringing their own children to follow their footsteps.
